Sierra

Our beloved little black cat.
We adopted Sierra from our local SPCA when she was about a year old, that was back in 1994. |
Sierra was the resident sheep. She was a lovely little cat who loved dogs, people you name it.
Quite often you would see her walking through the house with a line of border collies trailing her.
She and Jynx were very good friends. When Jynx had her litter in 1997, Sierra was often found sleeping with the puppies. Jynx allowed her there and they would all sleep together.
Sierra suffered a massive stroke the night before I left for nationals, and we had to say goodbye to her.
She is very missed, Tigger still lays with his head through the cat door looking downstairs waiting for her. She used to lay on the top step and smack him the head, teasing him to no end.
The picture above shows so very much who she was. Good Bye Sweet Girl, we all miss you so much. I'm sure Jynx was very happy to see you arrive. |
