Quinn has been diagnosed with Cushings Disease.  It's been quite the ride with this lovely gal, but now Quinn is now fully retired.

Quinn is from Rising Sun Farm in Minnesota

** Quinn was recently diagnosed with Cushings Disease.  She is on the proper protocol to live a full life.  She has a tumor on her adrenal gland which has not been biopsied so she is on cancer preventative measures.  **

Thanks So Much to Becky and Steve of Rising Sun Farm for this wonderful little girl!!  She is the first in what has become a "love affair" of border collies from their kennel.

Quinny is 20" tall and 34lbs. She is absolutely breathtaking to look at.

She is, quite simply, a black and white stealth bomber!

Quinn has certainly been a wonderful addition to our family.  With age she has become the "fun police" of the household.  If she thinks someone shouldn't be doing something, she decides she has to put a stop to it!!

She is unbelievably sharp - her intellect never ceases to amaze me.  She can be a stubborn little thing, but that's what makes Quinn . . . . Quinn!  She picks up concepts very quickly, and is able to take them to the next level quite easily.

Kim and Darren both run her in agility, but she loved doing flyball with her Dad. Quinn ran a consistent 4.0 - 4.1 beginning or end of the day it mattered not, height of the jumps also don't slow her down.  She ran these times over 14" jumps.

Quinn is a very nice working sheep dog. She has a naturally wide outrun.

Kim does Rally O with Quinn, and they have done very well in that venue together.

Darren and Quinn have a great friendship, and are wonderful partners. She tries very hard for him - but at times gets that "I'm the border collie, you're just a mere human" attitude (don't all border collies do that??)
